Speech-enabled alarm monitoring systems

Description:

These systems are based on Compusult’s Responder, DigiCite, and Vindicator technologies. Responder combines machine vision, text-to-speech, and data communications technologies into a single system to provide speech-enabled event imaging and notification. Responder is used to continuously monitor a variety of alarm panels and to alert blind and visually impaired operators with text-to-speech output when one or more alarms occur. DigiCite and Vindicator are used to provide continuous readout of LED or VFD displays and LED or LCD indicators on telephone consoles so that blind and visually impaired operators can independently respond to and redirect all internal and external telephone communications passing through the main switchboard.
